My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Bilof.  Dr. Bilof thoroughly explained the pros and the cons of weight loss surgery.  I was comfotable with everyone at Garden state Bariatrics.  Dr. Bilof's care and concern for me; his calm bedside manner - were just some of the reasons I chose Dr. Bilof and had band surgery in August 2007.  My main concern for having the surgery was 'just' weight loss.  I felt that I was hitting a really bad point in my life before I made this decision.

I would absolutely refer Dr Bilof and the Garden State Bariatrics team because of the dedication & helpfulness with each individual case.  Everytime I come, my experience is pleasant and all concerns are addressed.

I was referred to Dr. Bilof and Garden State by a family member.  I was not disappointed - Dr. Bilof is a calm, caring and really gives all the time and attention needed - throughout every step.  The staff is so friendly and there for you - they are never too busy to do whateve rthey can.  Since surgery, I take less medications and fit into a size MEDIUM.  I recommend Dr. Bilof and the entire staff of Garden State Bariatrics!!!!

I heard about Dr. Bilof through NJ Monthly Top Docs - and it did not tell half the story - his care, his expertise and the staff at the office - the comfort level with everyone at Garden State - it is worth it and a life changing decision.  I had surgery in July 2009, I am off ALL my Diabetes medicine, can fit into a size 40 waist pants (so shopping is 'fun' again); My joints and back feel so much better - I play with my children and I feel terrific!

Between his credentials, his demeanor, his care and attention - and the friendly and great staff - I am so happy that I chose Garden State and the surgery.  My self-confidence is back; I can now fit into a size 16 - which is such an accomplishment - and I ENJOY shopping again!  Dr. Bilof and the Staff are just GREAT!

I was referred to Dr. Bilof by a friend.  And here I am - had Bypass surgery June 2010!  All the help with all the pre-op testing and insurance process - it made a difference!
