Our 5
th Annual Patient Holiday party was once again held at The
Venetian in Garfield NJ. with over 600 was in attendance! In our continued
tradition, we had music and dancing, full gourmet dinner and dessert as well as
a professional photographer and gifts and prizes. Our 2nd year offering the
"Open Bar" with protein shakes custom blended for patients continues to be a
patient favorite. Bariatric Advantage ®, UnJury ®, Protica ®, Fusion ®, Celebrate ®,
and Nestle ® continue to support our Patient event and we could not do it without
their contributions and support.
New this year was a live television broadcast: Rich Noonan, an 8-time Emmy award
winning journalist, interviewed Drs. Bilof, Yurcisin and key patients in 2011.
The live 30 minute TV documentary event was aired on RNN throughout the
tri-state area and broadcast during the Holiday Event! Phone rang off the hook
from people seeing the TV event from home and wanting to know more!
